What we collect

When you reserve a place at an event, we collect your name, email address, optional Telegram username, and the number of places you are reserving, plus anything you choose to tell the hosts. When you join the community list, we collect your email address. When a venue applies for partnership, we collect the business and contact details submitted in the form.

We do not ask for identity documents, payment card details, or any sensitive personal information on this website.

Event communications

Registering for an event means we will email you about that event — confirmation, practical details, and any changes. Community updates are separate and only sent if you opted in; every email includes a way to unsubscribe.

Photography at events

MEE events may be photographed for recap and promotional content. Hosts announce this at the event, and you can always ask not to be photographed — just tell a host. If a published photo of you should be removed, contact us and we will take it down.

Third-party technology

At participating venues, ordering and event offers run on Live Shelf, operated by our technology partner Staffless. Using Live Shelf during an event is optional and governed by the venue’s and Staffless’s own terms.

Analytics

We measure aggregate site usage (for example, how many people view an event page) in a privacy-conscious way. Analytics never include your name, email, or Telegram username.
